The high-profiled French ensemble TM+ is giving a concert at the Royal Danish Academy of Music performing works from the RE:NEW Music database by Jon Oyvind Ness (NO), Simon Holt (UK) and Jean-Luc Fafchamps (BE) + 2 French pieces by Dalbavie and Grisey. Just before the concert the audience can meet the 3 composers Ness (NO),  Holt (UK) and  Fafchamps (BE) in a pre-concert talk with composer Niels Rosing-Schow in the Concert Hall. TM+ Concert in Copenhagen, Monday March 22 at 19.30 and Pre-concert talk at 18.30

The context
This French - Danish project is a cooperation between the Royal Academy, TM+, SNYK and RE:NEW Music, and besides great music there will be several occasions to have an exchange of knowlegde and ideas between composers, both a seminar, a conference on Teaching composition in the XXI century, composer workshops and a pre-concert talk connected to the big concert with TM+.

How do you handle the balance between artistic guidance and technical skills?
How does the Bologna Process reflect the education of composition?
Where are the women in the field of composition?, does the academies have a responsability to chance the bad statistics? These are some of the questions which will be debated during this international conference.

Composer workshops
During their stay TM+ will be working with a group of composition
students of the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen leading to a
concert with the ensemble performing new pieces by the young composers.
