RE:NEW Music in the Nordic countries

	The Nordic countries has the honour of opening the late summer of RE:NEW, as both The Uusinta Chamber Ensemble, The Cikada Ensemble and Oslo Sinfonietta are doing RE:NEW projects in August. Uusinta Chamber Ensemble begins on August 21st with two pieces by Beat Furrer. They’re followed by Oslo Sinfonietta on August 22nd with Klaus Lang’s ” The Book of serenity”, while the Cikada Ensemble follows on August 28th with an all French RE:NEW programme. September begins with an international festival in Copenhagen. Ensembles from Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Belgium, Germany and Sweden will perform nordic music by some of the best nordic composers.
