Biography

Jaroslaw Mamczarski
born 1974 in Poland, master degree in Theory of Music (1998) and
composition (2000) in Academy of Music i Katowice (Poland). Mainly
interested in electroacustic music and new media projecs. His pieces
were played during number of festivals (such as Warsaw Autumn) and
concerts in Poland and abroad. Cooperate with grahics and designers
creaing new media projects. Also playing as performer with Mattias
Mainz (with his Realtime Research) and Richard Ortman. Lecturer of
number of summer courses of electronic music and relations between
sound and other media.  Most important works: M(a)yday for audio -
video media, Microconcerto I for audio - video media, Microconcerto II
for trombone and audio - video media, AMIE 5=4 (commisioned by Warsaw
Autumn Foundation and Ernst Siemens Musikstiftung) for six instruments
and audio - video media, Divertimento I for piano and tape, NetText -
intermedia project, Studium Geometryczne I for flauto, clarinetto and
live electronics (comissioned by Polish Composers Society) and many
more.
