Champ d´Action in concert during the TRANSIT FESTIVAL. Putting together the Lithuanian composer and conductor Vykintas Baltakas and Simon Steen Andersen. In Andersens "Chambered Music" he uses text from Mandela's prison diary, asks musicians to play backstage and uses the sound of metronomes that are hidden in crates on stage. October 24 at 20:30

The 23rd of October the Belgian ensemble Musiques Nouvelles will give a concert in the framework of RE:NEW Music. After the concert a public meeting with the two composers has been organized. The two pieces chosen from the RE:NEW Music work database is Moving Still by Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen and Neon by the young Brittish composer Tansy Davies. The Austrian ensemble Reconsil has been very productive during the previous years as members of the RE:NEW Music project. 7 concerts with great European pieces from the repertoire pool.  On this last concert the ensemble has chosen the piece "Kuule" by composer Lotta Wennäkoski. The concert takes place at Schoenberg Center Wien, October 19 at 19:30.

Polish-Slovak concert in Katowice

Orkiestra Muzyki Nowej and Melos Ethos Ensemble are performing together at the last Re:New Music concert in Poland. From the RE:NEW Music database the Slovak ensemble Melos Ethos has chosen the piece ‘Diversicorium’ by Paweł Hendrich (Poland).
